The mission of the COPPETEC foundation is to provide quality services to its clients in the management of their research and development projects, qualification programs and human resources training, as well as in the support of development contracts and agreements and provision of specialized technical services.

For that purpose, COPPETEC foundation offers the following services:

1. Management of Agreements with public and private bodies to carry out research, development and human resources training as well as, to develop and provide specialized technical services.
2. Management of Contracts with public and private bodies to develop joint research and/or to provide technical services (diagnosis, analysis, tests and others), to provide know-how, patent licensing and technology transfer.
3. Import of Materials and Equipment based on Law 8010/90 which benefits the purchase abroad  with tributes exemption, as long as they are destined to research project.
4. Management of purchases of Goods and Services in accordance to law 8666/93 and other pertinent legislations, starting from the analysis of the purchase strategy to the preparation of tenders and the holding of trading floors.
5. Industrial Property Management, specialized legal assistance related to the necessary procedures to obtain both national and international patents  as well as assistance  to the licensing process for the use of patents and softwares and in the drafting of technology transfer contracts.
6. Legal Assistance specialized in the management of projects and specialized technical services.
7. Financial Management of the cash flow of projects  and payment of suppliers and personnel engaged in the projects.
8. Personnel Management for the projects such as formalizing the admission of temporary employees and according to the CLT (consolidated Labor Laws) system as well as scholarship holders and temporary services providers.
